AI Replaces Team During Vacation

During summer in Nordic countries, my team are all on vacation and difficult to reach, and an opportunity to work with a new client in Bolivia came with a 24-hour turnaround time. Since no one was available, I used my go-to GenAI, Anthropic’s Claude 3.5 Sonnet, to replace each of the individuals on my team, and it worked!

As I wrote the contract, I delegated each part of writing the contract to Claude so that it had a complete overview of the whole contract and also understood what each section of the contract was written for and why changes were made. Working with Claude was like having endless resources of professionals who had local Bolivian business experience to help me craft a winning professional contract with specific references and clauses that made our offer stand out and our ability to work internationally be self-evident.

Another realization was the incredible speed at which Claude worked. Detailed answers were provided in seconds with examples of optimized contractual text, plus suggestions for new sections for the contract and why. It always asked if I wanted to look into other areas I had not thought of. Claude made suggestions that I did not choose to use, but it gave me more confidence in the quality of the final contract.

Our startup’s SEO is 100% done by AI. Our results have seen steady web traffic growth, and our most important keywords are now ranking extremely high in Google. Only AI could have achieved these results and so quickly.

My plan is to have 50%+ of my leadership team be AI services. The cost will be less than USD $100 per month, and the AI will work 24/7 to provide me with feedback, reports, and answer my inquiries any time of the day without hesitation.

A key example is Miquibot, our AI tool in Google Chat, which handles real-time inquiries about our expertise, technology, skills, offers, and employee benefits. Before Miquibot, our 250 employees faced repetitive questions and struggled to find important documents, resulting in a 30% drop in productivity. Miquibot centralized company knowledge, providing instant access to essential information and cutting HR and IT queries by 50% in three months. Miquibot pulls data from Confluence, Google Docs, and BigQuery, keeping its knowledge base comprehensive and up-to-date. Initially, we used off-the-shelf AI libraries for Miquibot, but they were hard to maintain and costly. So, we developed our own AI library, Draive, and the AI Kickstarter toolkit for easy AI model integration. With AI Kickstarter, we built three internal AI applications for HR, IT helpdesk, and our knowledge base in three months, using techniques like Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and agent architecture.

In summary, integrating AI tools like Miquibot and AI Kickstarter has greatly improved our efficiency. By cutting repetitive inquiries, securing data, and boosting productivity, we’ve streamlined processes and delivered significant value to both our business and our clients.
